The team of Xu Zhuo (5D), Shyne Siew (5E), Lucas Tan (4C) and Dean Phua (4C) had won the 1st-runner up in the Best Competition Score Category in the Innovation, Design and Engineering 2013 - Robotics Challenge held on18th March. The event was jointly organised by NullSpace, Dunman High, Anderson Secondary and Anglican High School.

Check out the crazy POV images the camera picked up

First attempt at casting a Abloy Protec key (and it worked!)

Heard ya liked PCBs

A delirious demonstration of the wonderful weirdness that erupts every time I sit down.

One hole was coated with graphite to start the process... other hole was unaltered.

Didnt have any CuSO4 handy so had to make a solution of copper by striping down copper wire. Added lots of impurities to the solution. But wanted to try the conductive hole activation right away.

The team of Sean Lim (5D), Shang Zhan Feng (5D) and Donovan Ding (5E) received a Special Mention Award in the Innovation, Design and Engineering 2013 - Robotics Challenge held on 8th March. The event was jointly organised by NullSpace, Dunman High, Anderson Secondary and Anglican High School.

Nice shinny plated through hole

First try. Had to make our own copper solution.

Making a couple of proto-shields as a test of the through hole plating procedure.

Camera captures IR from red LEDs and there is an after image... POV

A little under plated. Maybe the conductive ink wasn't cured enough.

Came back with OSP, so we tinned them.

3M 8979N Nuclear Duct Tape

Striped and re-plated the low aspect hole.

Hand drilled a sort of ugly hole

the finished board (brighter than when we started)

Fish tank, copper tubing and a bit of duct tape.

Like a 90's rave flashback...

Added some solder to one of the holes... behaves just like a normal through hole!

A picture of me dicking around at 23b, posted on a wall in Null Space... hmm...

Just need to mill out the traces!
