Scenes drawn from the home and life of Isa Milman (the woman I was then married to) and I, made together with our dog Jesse, our friends Bruce Blaney, Patti Tanaka, their children Sean and Jason, among many others. I began this as a love poem to Isa, but before I finished the film everything had changed. 1968/69 was a period of violent transition for many of us. The film was formally challenging, editing footage with in-camera superimpositions and cutting black and white with color.
Martha had an entire chapter's worth of text up and down her left arm. Too bad she wasn't ambidextrous.

Voor het diner op vrijdag 5 september in Wasigny moet de rode wijn nog geselecteerd worden. Martijn en ik hebben vijf goed aangeschreven wijnen gekocht bij Albert Heijn en we hebben in Wasigny, tijdens het Try Out Weekend ook de rode wijnen uitgeprobeerd, zeg maar ;-)
Op zaterdagmiddag, voor de barbecue en het voetbal, hebben we een kleine proeverij gehouden. De vijf wijnen hadden een jasje gekregen en zeven proefkonijnen proefden uit 7 x 5 glazen en knibbelden wat aan het stokbrood tussendoor. De bevindingen werden op een soort score-formulier bijgehouden.
Zoals ik wel een beetje verwacht had liepen de meningen hemelsbreed uitéén. Smaken verschillen nu eenmaal! Toch kwamen er voorlopig twee als favo uit de bus: de Bordeau en de Macôn.

finshed art III exam project - wood & ink
I'm actually quite proud of this and i love it a lot. Our assignment was to show how we've improved over the semester and incorporate our sketchbook into the project. A photo of the page that inspired this piece is on here and that pattern and the rope were incorporated throughout my sketchbook.
The last day of school was today and i'm pretty stoked to be a senior now. It was a great year. Also i'm glad that it's summer. Tomorrow some friends and i are going to see Prometheus and it looks so rad. Alien is such a great film. So many plans for the summer.
