A pretty extreme example of note bending; my Classical Guitar, Suzy, warped to the max.
More abstract guitars in my album, "Wood and Steel."

Tiny blossoms of an Echeveria succulent captivated me enough to make something complimentary of them.
About 10cm in length.

I see the way you want me
I wanna be the one, oh
But I gotta be careful
Gotta watch what I say
God, I hope it all goes away
'Cause I can't fall in love with you
No matter how bad that I want to

Hay racks are an ethnological speciality of Slovenia. In Alps, summers are short and hay must be covered to get dry. But I never saw an idea to use it as staff for notation. Well, my wife says this notation of Slovenian national anthem (Zdravljica / The Toast) has at the end some faults, but the idea is still fine.
Happy Macro Monday! - with a close-up shot of Mullein.
It's just starting to bloom this year.
Mullein is a soft velvet-like biennial that can grow very tall. This dicotyledonous plant produces a rosette of leaves in its first year of growth. The second year plant normally produces a single unbranched stem as seen here.
The tall pole-like stem ends at a dense spike of yellow flowers. It is a common wild edible plant that spreads by prolifically producing seeds.
The common name, mullein, comes from the German language, meaning king’s candle because of its scepter-like, candle-straight growth. Depending on the summer weather conditions, this wild edible may not produce a lot of flowers.
Side note: mullein leaves (not shown in my photo) were once used as toilet paper.
I saw people crossing my brain
he wears a bowler hat ...
But I can't see his face ...
hard to see his face ...
one day two crows
perched on his shoulder
to provide information about his death
he just lifted his hat a little
as if to say
"... I'm painting your life ..."

The Walled Garden entrance.
See the next page for a look back from the opposite side of the walled garden.
Note: Untermyer Park and Gardens has been substantially restored since these pictures were taken. My suggestion is to Google for more recent captures or better yet, go and see it for yourselves how it has been so dramatically changed.

Many thanks for any "FAVES" or "COMMENTS" they're much appreciated.
For entirely non-train reasons I found myself at Cherrywood West on the first day of 2025. Turned on the scanner just in time to hear H19 call the approach to Cherrywood. It was a pleasant surprise - though not entirely unexpected - to see a pair of veteran SD60's come around the bend a few moments later. Some last minute adjustments to my camera settings (mostly) saved the day as the sun kept peeking in and out from behind the clouds.
