Grafiker misiniz? Ofis ortamında çalışan memur? Yoksa oyun delisi...
My commie-version of the cool blogger's moleskin + fisher spacepen combo; a cheap notebook and a free IKEA pencil.
The method that helped me first discover my artistic side was collage. I took a class and loved it and saw it as something I wanted to work and improve on. What better way to do that but combine it with my new artistic love: bookbinding.
This notebook is 6.25" by 9", contains 20 pages (40 sides), and is bound using black nylon (that I reused from an old book bag). The text block is sewn using a simple pamphlet stitch and then glued into the cover. The cover is what makes this book special. Each cover - front and back - is made up of strips of paper I took from a collection of different writing styles through the ages. I then glued each strip of paper on to create an overall striped pattern. The front and back covers are done with the same pattern but, of course, are a bit different.
I'm proud of this piece of work and hope that it will bring you joy as you use it as a journal, sketchbook, place for your poetry, a collection of quotations ... it has so many uses!

Done up with a notebook that was torn apart - cover and pages. Cover is wrapped and rubber-stamped and a cut-out of this funky girl is pasted. As for the pages, I have threaded them and finally attached to the cover and have it tied. I have widened the cover with a small strip in the middle to act as the base for the pages to sit on.

I got inspired by a notebook available through BuyOlympia.com, so I decided to make a notebook for my girlfriend out of an old magnetic tape box. It has 30 lined sheets, 30 unlined, and a divider page (ironically, it's the same number of sheets as the BuyOlympia one). It also has rings instead of sewn in pages. That way I can always give her more paper.
It didn't cost as much, either. It really only took about 8 dollars to make since I had most of the stuff already. :)
