I tried my hand at making a notebook, and for a first try I think it looks pretty good. The cover needs a bit of work, and I still haven't put anything close to decorations on the notebook, but I'm pretty pleased so far! I'm still waiting for the cover glue to dry.
I'm planning to use this for this year's embodiment ;)
It was nice writing weather, so I packed my fountain pen (Lamy Safari) and a notebook and did some jotting
A passage from the Cahiers of Paul Valéry, copied into my own cahier. The magnifier came with a compact Oxford English Dictionary.
This notebook is made from felt and was hand embroidered from a pattern drawn by myself.

I finally found a source for my favorite notebooks. Powell's Bookstore in Portland has them, but they say they don't ship this kind of stuff. And I'm wondering why the heck not... I mean, if you sell them in the store, why wouldn't you ship them?
Grrr.
Anybody know somewhere else I can get them? I need them in a bad way.

Measurements and materials:
Size A5 ( 21.5 x 15.2 cm), 2.8 cm thick, hardcover.
Includes 47 sheets of semi-dense white drawing paper. May be used as well for writing a as for drawing or sketching.
The cover is wrapped with polyester fabric.Journal is bound with ribbon. It is a great pleasure to hold this book in hands and write in it.

They sent me a postage-paid sticker! So I mail the notebook back to them, and they send me a new one.

日文字體的定規比較不常見。
這是日本製圖定規老牌的產品，
很多型號是不外銷的，必須在日本國內購買。
但日文定規很適合 "日文苦手" 抄寫一些東西或設計用!!
這個型號的模板很薄，線條也很細，是設計給製圖針筆用的。
中性筆的話，要挑選像是 Pentel Sliccies 或是 Pilot hi tec c ,
筆尖0.28-0.3mm的才有辦法使用。

筆記內，綠色的日文字，是用這兩個定規寫的。
