Finally got up the nerve to continue with my pyrography project...and freehanded the wolf onto a TN cover... Still a work in progress, but I like where it's going. The undyed piece is the test I did in march last year...yes, it took me that long to get it from scrap test to TN...
Traveler's Notebooks, my personal TN "red dragon" made by myself for myself as a reward for quiting my job to make Traveler's notebooks and accesories full time =)

I was flipping through my Moleskine notebook, when I found this architectural diagram. It was drawn right around when I quit Google (the next page, top half of this photo, is a draft of my first post on Laptop and a Rifle). I'd completely forgotten about it, but I'd subconsciously reused this design for Hut 2.0.
I have never lost the love of putting pen to paper. When I am most frustrated I find it much more soothing to find one of my notebooks to write down my thoughts. When I have an idea I'll jot it down in one of the little books that I keep in my purse or beside my bed. Certain notebooks have specific purposes, some are purely for emotional venting serving solely as a diary, while others are for practical lists or musings related to work or my various hobbies. Others are a sort of hybrid, bridging all levels. I compose letters, work on character or situation sketches, vent in short bursts of angry prose about something that is bothering me. Over the years I have collected many such notebooks. Periodically I will sit and leaf through the pages and see if I recognize the person who had written in them.
