These are the notes I took during the consultation with Birgitta, a fellow consultant from the area. As I tried to interview her, she tried to advise me about the future Future Uninc.

Saw marks visible - pushed it through too quickly. Note also a slight but observable "hungry horse effect" where the glue lines are. The harder, glued areas stick out more than the softer timber, which is surprising given the high speed of the blade. The blade must be flexing a lot more laterally than I supposed... "Hungry horse" is the curse of aeromodellers using balsa and harder glues such as cyanoacrylate (CA, "Super Glue") rather than balsa cement, which is not as quick to set but is much easier and forgiving - and more pleasant! - to sand than CA

I am so allergic to mums but these didn't seem to bother. Lots of allergy headaches lately so maybe I need to let this be their last year? I planted them about 3 years ago, so it may be time anyhow.
gardeners note: this one didn't come back but the one across the walk did and is still with me in 2013 and I rooted new cuttings the spring of 2013
