Olgebay-Norton Alco’s stand in the rain at the company’s Ashland, Kentucky yard. RS3 512 began life as Reading 495, and is now part of the Vintage Locomotives, Inc. collection in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I haven’t found the origin or disposition of S2 511.
This is one of my worst result. Because of using cambo 6x9 fujinon 150mm + overuse of tilt effect too much.
It means that I am still beginner, less experiences, and I should notice my bonehead.

Looking as good as new… 1944 490cc Norton 16H XVV985 seen in Gloucestershire.
Introduced in 1921, the 490cc sidevalve-engined Model 16H would be continuously up-dated for the next 30-plus years. The 16H saw service with the Allies throughout WW2, forming the majority of the 100,000-or-so Nortons supplied to British and Commonwealth armed forces.

aken at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio during the AMA's Vintage Motorcycle Days weekend.
Unfortunately this was taken with my very first digital camera, a small P&S Canon. The bike deserves better, but it's cool enough that you should be able to appreciate it anyway. I certainly hope so.

Doctor Who fans may well recognise this Victorian stately home near Evesham in Worcestershire, seen today in snow.
Wood Norton Hall, now a hotel and restaurant, featured in a 1969 episode of Doctor Who called Spearhead from Space. The stars included Jon Pertwee as The Doctor, Caroline John as Liz Shaw and Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart.
Wood Norton Hall and its estate dates back to medieval times, and was the last home in England for the later king of France, Duc d'Orleans. During its life it has also been a private school before the BBC bought the estate in April 1939 to provide an emergency broadcasting centre away from London in case of war.
When the Second World War did break out a few months later, the centre evolved into one of the largest broadcasting centres in Europe, and also provided a monitoring station for foreign broadcasts. After the war the site became an engineering training centre.
What the trials expert would have ridden in the late 1940's. I was recently at a round of the Trial GB British trials championship, oh how the bikes and the sections they tackle have changed. Classic Bike Festival Ireland 2025.

A pleasant surprise when I arrived at this section of the Grand Union Canal at Norton Junction, Northamptonshire. Working boat 'Nutfield' and butty 'Raymond' are seen moored up. There seemed to be a photo charter going on, which I seemed to gatecrash! More pictures to follow!

I love this particular place in London, where lines, curves and materials merge towards the sky.
After some facebook help I have established that this is an old Norton 16 H produces between 1920-1954.
