A female Eurasian blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla) in a friend's garden on the island I'm from. (The male has a black cap.)
Although she lives close to my parents, they have very different bird species coming to their feeders, and it's nice to find those I don't photograph that often at her place.
It was the only day before Christmas that we had snow last year, but sadly it had melted off the trees here.

It would be nice with a little glimpse of snow again now for the perfect mood, instead of all the rain this weekend.
But I hope I will get some Chrisimas mood anyway, while on a hotel weekend in cozy Stavanger together with a friend.
