I went to town today! Overslept my meeting with Gabi cos I fall asleep only around 3am every night. Im so used to my bed in FIN and my man next to me:)
It was so good to go to town, see the streets, people, use the public transport.. I waited for Gabi at the Cathedral square and really enjoyed just being there. She took me to drink Frappe in Metaxa (she has spent half a year working in Greece) and told me the unbelievable stories of her trips. Gosh, that girl is crazy! :) I received a gift from her - a lovely Turkish evil eye amulet.
Then I met my cousin Jonukas for a movie (Norbit - really bad, but I guess just right for a 15 year old..), we ate at Cili and had few rounds in Rimi to make official photos and take some copies for him. Our meeting went too fast, I shouldnt try to see many people in one day.. NB!
Then I met Ernesta and her friend and colleague Jonathan (hope i spelled it right..) in the same Cili and we had a good laugh and interesting conversation. Mainly about movies:) He reminds me of my friend Tim a lot!

Dad was watching Norbit on my bedroom but I decided to make something better. :) I'm in love with watercolors.

Brent is an absolutely wonderful friend.... before I met him, I rarely went to the movies... this wonderful man always takes Darrell and I to the movie premieres here in Winnipeg....
We just got back from going to the premiere of "Norbit", starring Eddie Murphy.
It's not just the movies though, this guy is always there if you need him! He's always got a moment to share, and we have so many interests in common.
When I first moved to the city, I didn't have many people here that I knew. He was one of the first that I met, and we instantly hit it off. I am so glad he is part of my life!
I am very lucky to have Brent (aka beenbair aka Pictoria Secrete) as a friend!

I am feeling better today. I don't have the watery eyes anymore and I'm not sneezing my head off, but I still have a hell of a cold!
I just saw Norbit, that movie with Eddie Murphy. Wasn't that great. Some parts were funny, but I really wasn't impressed. Oh well!
6 more days until I go to Florida! Me and my dad are flying down for a few days (since I'm on break and he had some vacation days) and I cannot wait. My break starts Thurs. after my last class. I am so excited! I haven't seen a real beach since... I don't know when. 2 summers ago? I need a break, and I need to getaway from this freakin school
