Not the best time of day for photos but the colors and shadows seem to compensate.

I found a nice Kodachrome 25 recipe that reminds me of my beginnings in photography way back in the day. I've decided to apply the simulation on a variety of subjects for awhile.

Waving lights in an empty room again. This time a more traditional motif, The Orb, but with slightly different texture. For endless variation on a theme, you can rely on light orbs.

My 24 hours of Flickr as they happened:
I was jet lagged and slept till noon. Spent the rest of the day catching up with family and friends on the phone, reading, correspondence, email and Flickr.
At 10:00pm we took a taxi to SAM. For the Seattle Art Museum's "Grand Opening Weekend" (35-Hour Grand Opening Marathon) the museum was opened for 35 hours straight as it "kicked off the grand opening of the newly expanded downtown facility".
We got tickets for 11:40pm so we walked to Hotel 1000 and had a light, late supper at BOKA. At 11:35 I took this photo. At 11:40 we went inside the museum. It was a great party.
Welcome back SAM. You look better than ever.

Yesterday's flower image had the yellow flowers in the background, so here they are in all their glory. This one has the Olympus Dramatic Tone art filter with the white edge effect and no post processing. I had to do an image search to find out they are Black-Eyed Susan flowers.
My first (of two) sunflower opening happened today.
