I challenged myself to take a shot that wouldn't need any post processing. Unfortunately because I wanted a square image, I had to crop.

This is from last year. I can't remember what kind of exotic fruit it was, but it had a strange yellow mesh-foam packaging. So I stuffed it around a plastic glass with the end cut off and pointed some LEDs at it to see what it would look like. This I hat it looked like.

I found a nice Kodachrome 25 recipe that reminds me of my beginnings in photography way back in the day. I've decided to apply the simulation on a variety of subjects for awhile.

Early on the morning of August 16, 2017, I was walking in our yard and taking pictures.
I saw these wildflowers looking so pretty, as they waited for the right time to open.
Our rose bushes are starting the second blooming for the year. Grabbed a few with the Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 wide open. It is a bokeh beast!

I was feeling snidey for not making anything for the International Light Painting Award 2015. So I went up in the loft and made this, as not only did Herr Wollert go to the bother of organising the award, he'd cunningly set the deadline for entries as his birthday. So many happy returns to long time crazy euro-light waver Jan Leonardo. Hope the ILPA goes as well as he hoped.
