On ne peut pas peindre du blanc sur du blanc, du noir sur du noir. Chacun a besoin de l'autre pour se révéler. Proverbe africain
Nos écureuils indigènes présentent deux types de coloration. La fourrure du dos varie de brun roux à presque noir alors que la partie ventrale reste blanche. ... A basse altitude, les écureuils roux sont majoritairement brun roux alors qu'à haute altitude ils sont plutôt brun noir.

Roc Noir is in the middle distance (centre, right) with Glacier Cornier on its right flank and Glacier Durand on the left. The peaks behind are Obergabelhorn (left), Pointe de Zinal (directly behind Roc Noir) and Dent Blanche.
