Der U-Bahnhof Haderner Stern in MĂŒnchen wurde von den Architekten Braun & Haselberger geplant, die Bodenmosaike um die Sitzgruppen herum stammen von Ricarda Dietz. Der hohe, sĂ€ulenlose Bahnhof ist mit einer Deckenkonstruktion aus gewelltem Metallblech versehen, aus der in den Wellenbergen quer angeordnete LampentrĂ€ger ragen, die den langgezogenen Bahnsteigraum etwas kĂŒrzer wirken lassen. An den WĂ€nden befinden sich golden hinterlegte und hinterleuchtet wirkende Glasbausteine, die zusammen mit der Deckenkonstruktion einen edlen Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Eröffnung der Station fand am 22.05.1993 statt.
The Munich Haderner Stern underground station was designed by the architects Braun & Haselberger, the floor mosaics around the seating areas were designed by Ricarda Dietz. The high, columnless station is equipped with a ceiling structure made of corrugated metal sheet, from which protrude transversely arranged lamp rails in the wave mountains, which make the long platform space appear a little shorter. On the walls are gold-backed and backlit glass blocks, which together with the ceiling construction leave a noble impression. The opening of the station took place on 22.05.1993.

I took a hike recently through this forest of old growth Christmas trees. Definitely would not want to be responsible for decorating any of these. đ
I love mountains because they make me humble and down-to-earth. For hundreds of thousands of years theyâve been sitting there in noble silence. They donât need a rosy sky to glow on their faces. They donât even need any fancy foliage plants to catch your eyes. Itâs like you donât need to climb a mountain to know that itâs high.

Old growth noble fir trees. This is just inside the forest pictured in my previous post. The forest is full of these very straight and very tall firs.
A UPY GP15-1 passes the former site of Noble Street Tower as it shoves towards Ogilvie with coaches serviced at California Avenue. It's crazy to think that it's already been three years since the Panhandle lead in the foreground was last used.
