If you ask me what was the most difficult day of the Iceland trip, I would without hesitation tell you that the second day we spent on the Laganes Peninsula would win the award. it rained practically all day, you are on the edge of a cliff with winds over 70 miles an hour. You literally wear every piece of clothing you have brought with you and yet, you are still freezing.... Good thing, I had brought chest waders in my suitcase, no matter what they keep you dry ... This being said, if you ask me what was the most memorable day of the trip, I would also say the second day we spent on the Laganes Peninsula... My first encounter with the Gannet and I would have not given up this opportunity no matter what...some may say, that Gannets can be easily seen in other parts of the world and under way better conditions...but as they say, no pain no gain...:)

These twin demons do everything together, and no one is sure which is Pain, and which is Gain. Amongst the denizens of Hell, Pain and Gain are immensely popular, as they never stop working, endlessly summoned by every meathead dropping their weights and exhaling the ancient spell: "No Pain, no Gain".
Built for CZQ's Two of a Kind contest, with one MOC build over the course of nearly two months on and off, and one is a few hours. Not using my time wisely, and have no actual winning plans, but I wanted to actually build something for it.

Yak himalayen sur l'arrête de Singalila. Cette arrête fait office de frontière entre l'inde et le Népal. Sa partie nord se trouve au Sikkim, le dernier état Indien avant le Tibet. La zone est sous haute surveillance. Ses habitants vivent principalement du tourisme ou de l'agriculture. De nombreux yaks se baladent dans les pâturages avec leurs jolies décorations.

The nations of the earth prepared for war; world supremacy was on their minds. Flashes of lightning, roars of thunder, and hundred pound hailstones fell from the sky. The worst earthquake in human history shook the world to its core. Every island sunk, every mountain crumbled, and every city collapsed. Then the Beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies marched out for the Battle of Armageddon. Fire burned before them, and blood, fire, and billows of smoke followed behind them. They surrounded Jerusalem, and the city was captured. The light of the sun and the moon were darkened, and the stars did not shine. When the next day came, the daylight remained darkened. It was a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. It was a unique day, with no difference between day and night. But mark my words, when evening comes, there will be light!
