I stopped to take a picture of this laneway and liked how these beautiful fall maple trees reflected off of my car, so I left it in the foreground. Some fabulous late afternoon light on this outing.

Nissan signed an agreement with Dongfeng to build the Bluebird U13 in China. It is similar to the Altima/Bluebird U13 produced in the US and Taiwan and production of the Bluebird, codenamed EQ7200-I, commenced in 1999. In 2001 the EQ7200-II was launched, similar to the Altima L30, albeit with a redesigned front and rear end. The restyling was done by the Taiwanese company Yulon, even though it was never produced in Taiwan. Production of the facelifted version, known as EQ7200-III, lasted until 2007.

A Nissan Altima parked in front of a Kia dealership. The first generation Altima was launched in 1992 on the North American market and is identical to the Bluebird U13 sold in international markets, including Japan and China. For some reason quite some Japanese cars on the Taiwanese market used to be identical to the US-version. In the mid-nineties Nissan launched the locally assembled Cefiro (Maxima QX in Europe) on the Taiwanese market, which was a huge sales success.
