Stunning view of the Himalaya mountain ranges as the Kalidgandki river flows through the huge valley which once was the seabed before the Himalaya was formed over million of years.
The mighty peak of Nilgiri South (6,839 m) towers above the Kali Gandaki gorge in western Nepal, huge banner clouds indicating hurricane force winds high on the mountain. This photograph was captured from the small village of Tatopani, nestled in the warm and green southern end of the gorge, where locals and travellers alike enjoy the warm hot springs and incredible views of the Himalayan foothills.

This is around 47 kilometers from Bandarban town.
You can observe the bewitching beauty of the mountains, where the clouds are playing with the waves of the wind. Its unbelievable site which I neither could capture nor could express in texts.

Vanessa indica, called the Indian Red Admiral globally, except in the United States where it is called the Asian Admiral, is a butterfly found in the higher altitude regions of India, primarily the Himalayas and the Nilgiri Hills. This example was seen in West Bengal, India.
Indian Red Admiral differs from Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta) by having brown rather than black upper hindwings, and three large black spots rather than solid black on the upper forewings.

The Nilgiris district is one of the 38 districts of the state of Tamil Nadu and is the name given to a range of mountains spread across the borders among the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The Nilgiri Hills are part of a larger mountain chain known as the Western Ghats. Tea and coffee plantations have been important to its economy. Goes without saying that tourism is an important source of revenue for the stunningly beautiful region.

The Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) is metre gauge railway in Tamil Nadu, India, built by the British in 1908. NMR uses 'X' Class steam rack locomotives, manufactured by the Swiss Locomotive and Machine Works of Winterthur in Switzerland, on the rack and pinion section of its tracks. The steam locomotives are marshalled at the downhill (Mettupalayam) end of the train. The average gradient in this rack section is 1 in 24.5 (4.08%), with a maximum of 1 in 12 (8.33%).

My first sighting and shot of the Nilgiri Langur. They have glossy black fur on their body and golden brown fur on the head. Similar in size and long-tailed like the Gray Langurs. Diet consists of fruits, shoots and leaves. The species is classified as vulnerable due to habitat destruction and poaching for its fur and flesh.

The Nilgiri langur (Semnopithecus johnii)[3] is a langur (a type of Old World monkey) found in the Nilgiri Hills of the Western Ghats in South India. Its range also includes Kodagu in Karnataka, Kodayar Hills in Tamil Nadu, and many other hilly areas in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This primate has glossy black fur on its body and golden brown fur on its head. It is similar in size and long-tailed like the gray langurs. Females have a white patch of fur on the inner thigh. It typically lives in troops of nine to ten monkeys.[2] Its diet consists of fruits, shoots and leaves. The species is classified as vulnerable due to habitat destruction and poaching for its fur and flesh, the latter believed to have aphrodisiac properties.[4
