A typical NYC underground parking garage. Captured on Cinestill 800t with my Nikon FM3a and 50mm 1.4 Ais.
Guess what is this
"Ask me, ask me, ask me
Ask me, ask me, ask me
Because if it's not Love
Then it's the bomb, the bomb, the bomb,
the bomb, the bomb, the bomb, the bomb
That will bring us together"
("Ask", by The Smiths)
This is a shot of the tip of a V2, a nazi bomb that was used against Belgium and the UK during WWII, causing thousands of deaths.
They were launched from the Peenemünde base, on the baltic sea.
Today this huge rocket stands inside the Deutsches museum, from first to third (and last) floor.
It's impressive in its dimensions, luckily they were never used as atomic bomb vectors (but unfortunately we were not spared from seeing the atomic bomb in action against civilians during that war).
I found this black mantle and its opening, and the white color of the rocket amazingly communicative.
