Lake Constance in the morning.

Taken during a work trip to Altensteig.

Honestly I don't know anything about this place.

Also I would have prefered a different timing than right in the afternoon.

Hohenkarpfen near Gunningen. I liked the outlines and general look and had a hard time beliefing that this thing is over 900m tall! From the top you can oversee both the swabian jura as well as the black forrest

The "Bickentor" in Villingen. This is a part of the old fortress in Villingen. I actually thought I was taking a picture of the older "Riedtor"!

Nikon F501 shooting on Fomapan 200. Film developed in Fomadon LQN. I wasn't always entirely keen on Fomapan, though the 200 seems better than the 100. In their own developer though, it seems to do better and I quite liked the results from this first time with this combination.

The chains are really large sized with the steel cable to pull them out of the box. The infrastructure department is replacing some of the main mooring chains in the harbour.

Shot on Fomapan 200, developed in Fomadon LQN. Camera: Nikon F501. This is the Isle of Man Government Fisheries Protection Vessel 'Barrule' in Ramsey Harbour. Not a frequent Ramsey visitor, so I suspect it turned up for some shipyard work.

These two snuggled up. Shot on Fomapan 200 with the Nikon F501. Film developed in Fomadon LQN

Analoge Langzeitbelichtung von den viel befahrenen Straßen Warschaus. Für das, aus einem Hochhaus aufgenommene Foto, wurde bewusst die Kamera gekippt um das besondere Motiv zu unterstreichen.

Analogue long exposure of the busy streets of Warsaw. For the photo taken from a high-rise building the camera was deliberately tilted to emphasise the special motif.

Diese analoge Aufnahme entstand im Kurpark in Travemünde in der Frühlingszeit. Das Foto wurde gegen die Sonne aufgenommen, wodurch die frischen hellgrünen Blätter besonders leuchten.

This analog photo was taken in the spa gardens in Travemünde in the springtime. The photo was taken against the sun, which makes the fresh light green leaves shine especially bright.

Rollei Superpan 200 push+1

This was taken last year on Kodak Gold, with a Nikon F501. The autofocus doesn't work, although the focus assist light still does. I have lent this camera to a relative to have a try with. A quite capable machine that has also produced some good macro results.

Nikon F501, maybe on Fuji Superia 200, as I still have a few expired rolls in my basement....but would not bet on it.

Scanned with Canon Pixma MG8150.

And "repaired" with DXO Photolab + Nik Collection.

Frankly it was getting too late for 200 ISO film, but after a working day, I felt the need to take a photograph or two. Nikon F510, shooting on Fomapan 200, developed in Fomadon LQN

Another time I'm disappointed from the scans made by Cewe. Need to get in a position to be able to do this better myself....

Castle Hohenzollern.

The castle is huge. I was allready on top of the second level of walls when I took this picture!

The fortress was rebuild for the second time starting 1850 and represents the romantic ideal of an medival fortress without the over the top excessive decoration of Schloss Neuschwanenstein.

Effigy on a window in Saint John the Baptist Church, Morton, Lincolnshire. This was taken with the Nikon F501. The auto focus isn't working, but the focus assist still functions. The film was Agfa APX 400 processed in Atomal 49.

Look over the skyline of Frankfurt. I'm not completely sure about the location from which I shot this picture anymore but the building on the right is the "Westend 1" building, the third highest building in Germany. The crown on top is a reminder of Frankfurt as beein the crowning city of german emporers.

The pic was taken on a bustour through the city :)

Bee orchids taken on Kodak Gold 200, with my Nikon F501. These were photographed in the soon to open new Bird Reserve in the North of the Isle Of Man. This former gravel pit is turning into a terrific haven for wildlife and some lovely wild flowers. There are also invasive plants, but the team have been working hard to manage these so the native species such as this Bee Orchid can thrive. They have followed a policy of trying not to introduce anything in the way of plants and animals. The gravel pits have quite large bodies of water where historic extraction took the pits below the water table. These now have fish in them and again this has occurred without any need to introduce any. It is believed some birds and especially ducks will carry fish eggs on their feet.
