He (Howard Marsh) stacked 8 images. This morning is quite smoky and that could explain the more yellow hues. Or it could be the different camera (Nikon D6), using the old familiar Nikkor 105mm. Or the angle of light. Or the slightly later time of morning...

A Grey-headed Fish Eagle (Haliaeetus ichthyaetus) was looking nearby opportunities for the taking while sitting on a perch in the morning near a waterbody. Under the natural conditions the eagle looked really gorgeous here with a beautiful personality of a hunter. Pics was taken from Bibhutibhusan Wildlife Sanctuary, West Bengal, India.
A Hooded Pitta (Pitta sordida) was framed offering best of portrait poses on a perch with curious eyes. Although it was resting under shades the backdrop here was so sublime and smooth that the bird looks very charming.
