When I was at the Drei Zinnen, I stayed there until it got dark. I wanted to photograph the Drei Zinnen Hütte at night. So I had to walk back the 6 kilometers to the parking lot alone in the dark. It was a bit scary but I survived. Here is the result.

Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forrest. At dusk when i thought the clouds were going to negate my Milky Way once again this year. They lifted after dark thank god. What a place!, there is nothing like the Patriarch Grove. Not on this earth anyways!
The “planet” is a green onyx gemstone (in my collection).
I have applied the Night Galaxy sky as a background to my original image.

TIMELAPSE OF THE FUTURE: A Journey to the End of Time (4K)
“The starry night opens its gates to other universes and unseen creatures appear. People may call them demons and fear in their ignorance. But these are only the creations of the stars that bring light in the dark. They have always been and will be. Even when the humanity will disappear”.
I was at home and noticed aurora alert on my phone so I decided to try a short time lapse. There were plenty of shooting stars while shooting the time lapse. It was only a G1 solar storm which means no full sky aurora.Only some at northern side.
The bright lights at the right side is our train station here in Mäntsälä. There was some minor fog in the air aswell, which is really adding to noise on this picture.
My gear was getting all frozen as I was there for 2,5 hours and it was -8 degrees celsius outside.

Some light aurora and lots of stars there over Nova Scotia in Cape Breton. Andromeda Galaxy was very bright in the sky as well as the large section of the Milky Way. Couple satellites as well as a short meteor can be seen.
