Random places around Oshkosh Wisconsin.
We decided to drive around (as if 2 days of 10+ hours driving wasn't enough) upon arrival to our hotel. Didn't have to go far to catch some nice moments between storms.
I left myself far too short of time tonight.
My friend and I are embarking on a 52 week project as I've never been able to complete a 365.
We agreed that all photos should be uploaded before midnight each Sunday.
This was supposed to be uploaded by midnight, I didn't take it until 11.50pm.
Uploaded with a minute to spare.

Another Christmas card cover? Or should I stick to bird images! :-) Nice lights and decorations in front of the "Vintage Home on The Range" antique home goods store in Old Town...
We do not have many days of snow down here. So when there is snow coming you better know I will aim to be out there. But with the restrictions back then, I just went for a walk nearby in Shorne woods. To be honest the condition were ideal for some wood photography, the mist and the snow storm made for quite interest images even though I do not know this place well yet. Just when I was on my way out I found this amazing character which seemed to fight against the storm in order to stay visible and standing. I quite enjoy the dual tone end result in this soft high key image.

With my challenge in mind, I loved the light and dark and the curiosity in this shot as well as the curve of the railing on the left.
Challenge: 100 images in 2017 with the nifty 50 in black and white.
Located 40 miles upriver from Louisville, La Grange has a population of 8100. The CSX runs up to 30 trains a day through the center of town. The Historic District has many local restaurants, gift and arts and craft shops. Surrounded by four huge prisons, it's a gem...my second visit in 45 years.

Enchanted Lens Camera Club (ELCC) Mid-week Marauders trip to the Old Town Plaza to photograph evening Christmas lights and shopping scenes... as with the last Marauder outing, it was raining but this week it was also cold and dark... and the Marauder fearless leader was down with the CV-19! Would anyone show up... of course, they would!
I haven't been down to Old Town in months and really enjoyed seeing the historical architecture, the small and some eclectic stores and just "feeling the Christmas spirit." Many of the shops did a great job with their decorations and lights - Christmassy for sure... the rain and the chill put a damper on the shopping, but we had a good wander and had fun with fast lenses, long SS's, lights and shadows. Dinner at the Church St. Cafe was also excellent - for me - a Rueben on rye dipped in red chili and of course, a margarita...
In front of "La Choco Salty and Sweet" confection store there were nice lights in a Gazebo... walking past and turning around, I saw a unique fence post, a pretty shrub with nice green leaves and red berries with the gazebo lights in the background... looked like a Christmas Card photo-op to me.

Toerag, on her last morning with us. Old age is unkind, but the look in her eyes does speak volumes. Miss you girl.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Hoping to get more time to flickr soon.
Had a few big projects to complete. Finally got a chance for a good long sleep last night.
Sleep is so under-rated. I am starting to think we could attain world peace if we
were all allowed the sleep we need. :)
HFF Everyone and sweet dreams to you all this weekend! xx
