Conoscere gli angolo nascosti di una città significa viverci da molto tempo. Ma viverci da molto tempo non significa conoscerne gli angoli nascosti.
La maggior parte delle persone preferisce percorrere strade conosciute, convenienti, persino trafficate. Pochi sono quelli che non hanno timore di andare dove gli altri non vanno, di attirare l'attenzione della gente abituata a vedere tutto girare sempre nello stesso verso. Quelli che non hanno timore di fare un po' di strada in più, quella piccola e inusuale deviazione del percorso che alla fine li porterà a conquistare un'altra piccola meraviglia.

Most people prefer to travel on roads that are known, convenient, even trafficated. Few are those who aren't afraid to go where others don't go, to attract the attention of people who are used to see everything always turn in the same direction. Those who are not afraid to do a bit of street in addition, that small and unusual detour on the route that eventually will lead them to conquer another small wonder.

Mike leading up the last pitch, then we were there!
I'm standing on a nice grassy ledge here at the top of the 3rd pitch, bit more comfy than the hanging belay!
This was our second climb was called Stoat's Crack on Pavey Ark. (150mts using four pitches)
Heathrow's far behind. Patterson's below and the beginning of the Diablo Range hoves into view at top right. Can't be far to San Francisco now...
