It was said at their trial if it hadn't been for the high demand for more cadavers from the Medical Science College at Surgeons Hall those atrocious crimes would never have been committed.

So this proclaimed statement is right in the fact that behind the photographer is a beautiful view of the New River Gorge, and some amazing mountains of West Virginia. I guess someone wanted to proclaim what they do when visiting Grandview Park. Different strokes for different folks!

View of the Quabin Reservoir in central Massachusetts. It is a man made body of water created in the 30's to supply Greater Boston with a water source. 4 or 5 towns were forced to be abandoned, leveled and submerged. Supposedly, some of the old roads and town centers that were on high ground are still accessible along hiking routes.
Some graffiti on a nearby rock had "Heaven's Alter" spray painted on it. I thought it made for a nice title.
The sky isn't as smooth as I would like, but Im done with it for now. Maybe I will work on it a bit more later. 10MM makes these thing pretty tough!! Only the centers align due to the wide angle distortion. Any tips would be appreciated.

Last week I stayed the night at a friends house in SF. I was told that he lived in the Twin Peaks area and had a nice view of the city. I was sure it would be good, but not this good! By the time I got there (late) many lights of the more well known buildings of SF were shut off (notably City Hall and the Castro Theater), giving the city a sort of muted expression in the early morning haze that seems to come through from the Ocean every night. I took a number of shots with my Nikon D700 on a tripod w/ my 80-200mm f/2.8 and stitched them together in photoshop.
