La imagen es una representación visual de un fractal, específicamente una forma abstracta que crea la ilusión de profundidad y un túnel.
A small outpost on the edges of Nexo castle walls, used for maintenance and repair of scout bots. Also contains light anti-air defence and a fuel storage unit.
Built for classic-castle "flag of your kingdom" - I'll cut the flying thing out for the actual entry . Even so, it will probably push the boundaries of the rules, however I was informed that lasers/robots are allowed so we'll see what happens!
Here is the original edit of the shot below; I was quite happy with it but the last minute hue alteration made it next level for me. A very happy accident.
these new silver parts an accessories are nothing like the knights I grew up with. I remember the first knight helmat visor. HA!
Here's a photo I produced for the latest issue of Blocks Magazine - Issue 17 for March 2016. It features Clay Moorington from Nexo Knights battling some monsters. The issue is out now and you can find this photo on the inside cover.
I always enjoy working on these photos for the magazine. It usually allows me to try and do a different style of LEGO photo than I normally do. Thanks to Blocks for another opportunity to contribute to the magazine!
As promised, some more angles of the custom minifigure.
For those that haven't seen TheBrickLark's take on the suit, I'd highly recommend checking it out and following him, he is an exceptional customiser!
The torso is a modified Nexo Knights Axl.
The shoulder launchers were made out of epoxy.
The gauntlets out of spare stud launcher hinges.
The helmet is a normal helmet and Mr Freeze visor with cut up swords for the bunny ears ;)
And of course, it was painted by me (though there are still places that need touching up/finishing; like the batsymbol)
I noticed that some of the Monkie Kid sets have that spiked blade (#23861) in trans neon-orange so I picked up four of them, which seemed like the perfect excuse to give Lavaria a makeover.
You go girl!

"Captain, I just got the strangest feeling..."
"What is it, Lieutenant?"
"I feel like we're being...
...watched."
A re-shoot of the previous pic. So some improvements are:
🌋 A better defined ground for Moltor to stand or walk through.
🌋 He looks a little more natural and less posed.
🌋 The foreground is old dark grey BURPs and the background structures are black, so there's a clear distinction between the two elements.
🌋 The neater pyramid structure of the foreground plus the sun in the sky is clearer in suggesting forced perspective.
I like that there's more light reflecting off his body but his head seems to be so glossy that I had difficulty in not losing his face print in the glare on his head. And again, with the red cardboard backdrop, I've added some purple mist to the foreground to give it that richer palette. Overall I'm much, much happier with this take.
A small and fairly simple build. Nothing too exciting :-)
I initially wanted to make a artificial high-tech butterfly using the Nexo Knight sword pieces, but it turned into this instead XD
I always wanted to play with the idea of adding another member to the Nexo knights. And since the world of Nexo knights is a combination of medieval and futuristic technology, Cyborg would be a perfect candidate...
Similar use of the Nexo knights shields and the framework for a round window on both sides to create a much simpler stained glass design.

Today we are posting some old MOCs that never got posted.
This was a tech-infection vehicle inspired by the last round of Nexo Knights that kinda fizzled out.
