"Balloons over Waikato" festival 2016. The weather was a mixed-bag this year, but on the morning of this shot the conditions were perfect for flying!
As you know, I'm a flower lover, so that I'd have many shots of any bloom. This is the upload never done before. This field took my breath away, one of the highlights of the trip.
Note: This was taken in December, however, it's SPRINGTIME in NZ.
Sometimes when driving in New Zealand I just had to pull over, admire the view and take the odd photo. Such was the case on the road from Raetini to Ohakune on the North Island. I think it was a good choice; you be the judge. I'll know if the shot gets any faves.

From Wellington I took the Interisland Ferry to Picton on the South Island. This shot taken inside the ferry to give an idea of the accommodation. The ferry was very comfortable and the crossing smooth, although I'm told it can at times be rough. I've done it twice and it was very smooth both times.
