Since I worked in another city Monday and did some safety courses yesterday I thought I'd spend some of my day off washing the company van ! I moved to another contractor in the spring and have this Nissan NV200 at my disposal. I call it The Spaceship though it started to resemble an old oil tanker over the last month. It has a decent drivers' cab and good forward sight lines. The 2.0l four churning out around 130hp coupled to a CVT transmission handles highway duty well enough; I think the 2.5l with a five speed would be better.
I picked up my new vehicle tonight - a 2008 Ford Ranger with only 31,000 km on it! Can you believe those low kms? That's about a year's driving for the normal Albertan. I didn't have my camera with me, so I just snapped a quick shot with my iPhone. I'm in Red Deer now and I'll spend the night here before deciding were the roads will take me tomorrow.

The walk in Hyde Park from Knightsbridge towards the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens. Google Maps said it would take about 15 minutes. Think I did it in about 10 minutes!
