I get this every time I try to create a new Team Project. I've created several before on this server, so I'm not sure what I've changed...
The beginnings of a new project I've got in the works. Very hush hush...XD And yes, I'm aware that she currently has no hand. This is still muchly in progress...it's not even half done yet. But I'm already so proud of myself...seriously, glowing with pride. XD

The next quilt in my pipeline is what I'm calling "Ugly City". I should be able to get it started this weekend, so I've dragged the fabrics out from the stash closet in preparation. I bought this all kitted up at the quilt expo we went to in January -- the model of it was gorgeous, but when I looked at all the fabrics individually, I realized I would only have picked, like, 15% of them. It's going to be a fun project in the sense that all these ugly fabrics will have to join forces to become beautiful.

Hello, my name is Boniface. I'm very funny, I love jokes and adventures, and I hope we will spend a good time for all 365 days :-))))
Thank you for your comments and nice words, I'm very appreciate this:-)
A blackwork sampler (my first). The design adapted from my old Collins Complete Book of Needlecraft (1978,1981) and some technique help from The Complete Book of Needlecrafts introduced by Caroline Ollard (1983,1984). I'm going to work the design on mulberry coloured Belfast linen (32 counts per inch) in black cotton. Probably blogged at: www.handledcarefully.blogspot.com
WARNING: THIS BARN CONTAINS
* Some cows that can beat you till you beg for mercy
* Horses that are gigantic
* A dog that looks like a polar bear
* A woman who is probably stronger than any other gals you've seen.
Pob and I have decided to create a mural on one of the walls in the study. Its a narrow wall and the mural will sort of be a "family portrait"
The scene: 2 dogs and a cat looking up at a tree where an owl is sitting on a branch and the sun beaming down. The cat and 2 dogs will represent our pets Mango the cat, Toffie the staffy and Kobie the red heeler.
Pob's surname in english translates to owl and mine translates to rays of the sun hence the owl and the sun =D
We have another lil abstract stencil pn the bottom of our feature wall in the lounge. Here 's the "in progress" shot and If you really look hard its supposed to be the eyes and beak of an owl and a half sun and its rays (we didnt want it to be tooo obvious so i guess you would have to look *really* hard haha). I guess we're carrying a bit of a theme to the study.
We've never done a mural however if/when we have kids we've always wanted to do a mural for the nursery. I guess this will be the test run, if it ends up heaps fugly I guess we can just paint over it =D

Taken on New Year's Day, a self-portrait in the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. I was attending MagFest, a gaming convention and hanging out with friends. I decided for the new year I was going to tackle the 365 day self-portrait project, to try and experiment with different scenarios and lighting over the the year. This is kind of a -1, not officially part of the collection
