This is You, a friendly Japanese high school student and aspiring singer who I often see around Harajuku. This time, I ran into her in Shibuya when she was on her way to a recording studio. She's on Twitter here and one of her recordings is on YouTube here.

don't know what got into me...in my collection a few digital "vintage" cameras 😄 one day these will be "historic"
Left: The Lumix DMC-ZS40 (18 megapixels) announced January 6, 2014 is a compact travel zoom camera with a 30X, 24-720mm equiv. lens and 18.1 megapixel 'high sensitivity' MOS sensor. The ZS40 features both a 3-inch (920k dot) LCD as well as an electronic viewfinder (200k dot). The camera has full manual controls, Raw support, focus peaking, plus a control ring. Movies can be recorded as resolutions as high as 1080/60p. Sharing photos is easy, thanks to built-in Wi-Fi with NFC. Travellers will also appreciate the ZS40's onboard GPS receiver.
Right: Nikon announced the 995 on 25 April 2001.
(3.3 megapixels)
It marks the latest incarnation of a series of Coolpix cameras which started back in 1998 with the 900. The design team for the 995 had a tough job, they had to evolve one of the most popular and revolutionary digital cameras produced thus far, the Coolpix 990.

I bought this t-shirt eight years ago, when my son, Max, started at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. Four years later, in the spring, he graduated, and that fall, his sister, Mara, began her college career there. She graduated a few months ago.
Throughout those eight years, I wore this t-shirt every day -- or, rather, I slept in it.
Over time, its gray color faded, and so too the red words "Proud Ursinus Parent," but the pride I've felt for Max and Mara, and continue to feel for them, never will.
This fall, for the first time in a long time, neither kid will need school supplies. They won't need help moving into their dorm rooms. There will be no holiday breaks or college visits to anticipate.
The era of my involvement in their education has ended.
Last night I slept in a different t-shirt, one that embraces light and illumination.
A new era has begun. :)
just sat about at the skatepark, felt pretty rotten and nakered i decided to take a few pictures
at the same time zeke was playing with his 50mm and his camera, as he was checking a photo he just took so i thought i would take a sneeky snap, i love the sun just peeking over his hat and the general summer evening feel to it!
