I'm really loving Jake's new music and I saw this picture and thought it would make a great cover for his song 'Can't Stand The Rain'. I edited the colouring on the picture and then added a rain texture to it. It was hard to get a realistic looking texture but I think this is the best I'm going to get. Hope you like it!
This is a picture of my friend Wayne climbing the spiral staircase at the Art Gallery of Ontario. We spent a day wandering Toronto today for Canada Day. Wayne is getting married in a few weeks and is starting a whole new chapter in his life. I wish him all the best.

#HappyNewYear2021 🎊 And once again, here we are, I've made it to another "New Year’s", surrounded by the ones I love, my family.
I want to take a short moment to reflect upon 2020, which has been another great but interesting year (less professionally for obvious reasons, since I took the liberty to postpone most of my projects until this pandemic is under control) but rather personally for me and my family. More gains than losses, more ups than downs, it’s been an absolutely amazing 10 months. Ten months of painting, swimming, gardening, chilling, reading, talking, writing, watching movies, listening to music, playing video games, cooking (oh yes, lots of cooking), just pure relaxation. Spending time together is like getting to know each other from a new perspective.
I used my quarantine time to create my desired life. I noticed early on that I don’t have to go outside to do that, and once we’re “free” to go outside again, I’ll be ready to make my postponed projects and dreams come true! In my space and on my cloud I have everything I need: my body, my imagination, my family, my good health, my sanity, my financial stability, even a tiny small musical/ film/ and photography studio inside my house to create & work with.
2020 was no obstacle for me, it was rather a blessing in disguise, hands down one of my favorite years. I know, I 'm one of the few fortunate ones, and I appreciate every bit of it, it's been a year to rethink, reset and restart. My priorities, outlook, and thought process on life have definitely shifted with the pandemic. Especially as an artist you have no choice but to use your experiences, talents and creativity in business, and economically to survive. I'm hopeful.
Tonight at the start of a new year and (still) a new decade, I would like to THANK YOU all 🙏 for your kindness, love and support over the years, and I wish you a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year ahead. I am looking forward to seeing you all in 2021!!!

I have felt that regret so many times. I have always been overweight and until recently, I was a crash dieter. A few weeks ago, I joined the gym for the first time in my life, and crazily, it's not that bad! I actually quite like it. I just have to get the healthy diet thing down! I am tired of torturing myself on a daily basis. I have become so used to hating myself and dreaming about being slim, that I've forgotten I CAN be slim. I CAN feel good, look good and turn my life around. Most importantly, I can be healthy. I CAN change my life and live it how I want to. My daily daydreams can be a reality! Joining the gym was the first thing I have ever done to truly make an effort. I have been going 3-5 times per week for 3 weeks. Right now, it's my diet that's holding me back. The weekend treat that turns into a weekend splurge! This page is to constantly motivate myself and others. If I can help people and prevent them from feeling the way I have felt my whole life, then I will do that. Now fully revised and updated throughout, the new Lifting Shadows includes two completely new chapters. Chapter 17, entitled The Best of Times, contains an extremely detailed look into the writing sessions of the Black Clouds & Silver Linings album, explaining how the band work in the studio, how songs are created and pieced together. It also discusses the meanings behind the songs with all new interviews with the members of Dream Theater. It also gets to grips with contentious subjects such as the use of heavier, “cookie monster” style vocals. The Appendix, meanwhile, looks into the numerous side-projects that the band have been involved in, including Transatlantic, OSI, Liquid Tension Experiment, The Jelly Jam etc, as well as solo outings. It includes new interview with Dream Theater as well as the likes of Jim Matheos, Tony Levin, Roine Stolt, Neal Morse and Pete Trewavas. Overall, the new book is some 40% longer than the original.
