Singapore's founding Father; our founding Father, a great leader, a great mentor, a hero, left us on this date, 23rd March 2015.
It was a devastating news to everyone, everyone including the other part of the world.
Yesterday (23rd March 2015), from the Prime Minister's office, Singapore, our Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsien Loong deeply grieved to announce the passing of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, the founding Prime Minister of Singapore. Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed away peacefully at Singapore General Hospital at 0318 HR. Mr Lee Kuan Yew was 91.
Today marks a transition but we must not forget how much he had put into for Singapore. Knowing without his foresight and tenacity, you and I will not be standing on the same ground we are standing today.
All that we have today as a country is made possible cause of him.
Let us remember everything that this Great Man has done for us...
Ensuring that we and our future generations have a safe and secure environment to live and grow.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, you will be remembered.

I decided to take a moment out (away from my examination revision) to the Singapore City, taking the chance to check out and capture the beautiful and iconic Singapore landmark which represent him, and the country. Taking a look at Singapore in remembrance of her founding Father - Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

This kid... National Honor Society, student government, occasional musician, three sport athlete, and selected into the nursing program at the University of South Carolina. Jake will pursue his dream of becoming an anesthesiologist.
I utilized my Sunday off to see as many friends as possible. Today though (Monday), I found out that I won't be seeing much of anyone anymore because I'm officially moving to another office to lead voter registration drives in another swing state. I don't know where I'm going yet but I'm going to Boston on Wednesday for training. Should be interesting.

i got this on my lunch break yesterday. and it feels, sounds, and smells (yes, smells) EXACTLY the way it did when i used to smack one of 'em against the side of the apartment building i grew up in.

Part of a week 52 project.
Week 1 - Theme: New

Tomorrow is the big day!
Our son will start a new chapter in his life, 'scuola superiore' for the next five years in his 'liceo artistico' ON the beach (rounded building left of the tower in the background)...
We live close to the mountains, so there is 50 km between us and the coast. Bus drives will be long, but let us hope the fun in the school is compensating.
Every so often, I plan to drive down, spend some hours on the beach, jewelry making, and then drive back home together.
Drawing classes with the view onto the Adriatic sea... fantastic!
Today's graduation day! Strangely though, I don't feel that excited to be there hmmm. New chapter new beginning, hopefully I'll be able to pursue my dreams.
Didn't have much time to set up, so kinda used back similar lighting as yesterday. Well off to the dinner, hopefully can do something up if I don't get drunk tonight haha
