This bird had a nest nearby where it was feeding its fledglings. They have been a nemesis bird for me to photograph and this is my first decent photo of one so I was pretty thrilled.

I am so happy to announce that this wonderful book will also be featuring pics from Dancing Snake Nature Photography! My Coachwhip Periscope pic was in contention for the cover, but I think the publishers made a wise choice with this cover instead of mine. Number one, it's more "user friendly" (who does not love frogs?). Also, Frogs and other Amphibians are in such critical environmental danger, featuring them on the cover makes the point that we need to value these animals before they are gone.

This exciting, thrilling, and joyous book was recently published by my firstborn son, Jonathan. Of course, that makes me very happy. I find it wonderful as a Father. In addition, I am amazed that a book of such beauty is such a fabulous tool for revealing to the reader a hidden world of delight and joy. Ever since I was a child, I have enjoyed the opening a book to a random page and experiencing the unexpected. This guide makes Friday's dinner celebration marvelously fun and exciting. I always get new insight into a magical world of pleasure, imagination, and thought. It gives me unexpected revelations into my own psyche and world-view. I never fail to discover something new that surprises and delights me.

Shabbat is the holiest day in the Jewish Calendar, aside from Rosh HaShannah and Yom Kippur. And, it is a delightful party that occurs each and every week. We are so lucky to have Shabbat! It is a great gift from HaShem!!
'Treasure Of Shabbat' was written by my firstborn son, Jonathan. I am very proud of him. It was a labor of love that took decades to complete to his satisfaction.

For my Christian friends, this book is the service that the Jewish Rabbi Jesus conducted each Friday night at his Shabbat Table... Jesus is a Latinized version likely of Yoshua = Joshua or Yishaya = Isaiah,)
This book, which takes you step-by-step through the complete Shabbat Meal on Friday night, is a delight. It tells stories and gives reasons for each step. It is gentle and humorous.

After 15 long years, seeing Tokyo again is bittersweet. A lot of old places are gone or updated; I still love the Doutor 's chain cafes.
On Showa-dori is a coffee house with an upbeat feeling and an old comfy style. It's pleasantly noisy too.
Here I convert a model of it into a portable cafe and humidor. Rows of windows above the cafe are used as slots with glass doors for newspapers and cigars. A kind of vending machine feeling. On the ground level a reproduction of the cafe interior immediately creates it's own ambience. A tiny case with signature cookies and a service area to take out coffee in tiny porcelain cups gives the regular customer all he needs to whittle away the evening hours till 22:00.
A note for a camera layout is really superfluous here, although I have put it in. A coffee, a sweet, a newspaper and a mild Lonsdale are all one needs.
