One of the things I like most about photography within the Arctic Circle is how long sunset lasts. During the winter, you can have beautiful colors on the sky for multiple hours. Also, you feel like the actual sunset lasts for ages. Sometimes one just has to put the camera away and enjoy the views.

✨ NeverendingSL – Book 15

A new chapter stirs beneath the mist…

Beneath the fog, a light appears.

A path forgotten through the years.

Where silence hums and stories breathe,

The Lost Artist dares to leave.

Whispers echo, shadows gleam—

Is it just a dreamer’s dream?

Or the page that waits…

for you to read?

This is just a teaser.

The gates to the next chapter of Neverending will open very soon.

Don’t miss the beginning of the journey.

The sky and the Mississippi become one in an idyllic image of a Spring sunset.

I clearly see Falkor the dragon in the clouds. If you don't, google image search him for as long as it takes to agree with me...

I'm glad we agree.

This was taken in March on Glassilaun Beach near Clifden in Co. Galway. I was struck by the fantastic patterns in the sand, which so closely resembled trees it was quite amazing.

🌒 NEVERENDING – Book XV 🌒

Look closely.

Do you recognize him?

You’ve seen him before –

but never like this.

A shadow passing through forgotten chapters.

A distant figure, sometimes the Shadow Artist,

sometimes the silent man who walks alone.

You followed him unknowingly –

through 14 stories.

And now, he’s here.

A boy with a magical pen,

a phoenix at his side,

and Pinky Punky dancing through the mist.

He is The Lost Artist.

And he is almost ready.

The 15th book remains untitled.

The gates to NEVERENDING are still closed…

but not for long.

Listen closely.

The world is stirring.

The story is near.

Neverending is a delightful homestead region which highlights cherry blossom season and as you can imagine has a very Japanese flavour. Built by Jayden Mercury and Valarie (Zalindah Resident) the island has a lot of very photogenic nooks and crannies to explore

' I move quietly with the current. I slip through villages where people are ready to start new day. Every window got its own story. Untold. They are mostly unaware of me passing close by like a ghost. They eat, sleep or getting prepared for another stupid day at work, they make love or argue. Kids yawning. That's how most of the days start on that planet. I move on, watching life unfolding ahead ' My thoughts ;)

At first I was going to call this "Ride the Snake", until I realized these clouds are eerily shaped like Atreyu riding Falkor the luckdragon in the movie "The Neverending Story", which is based on the book of the same title by Michael Ende. I haven't read the book or seen the movie since I was a kid, but it was a favorite of mine.

Off to catch up ;-)

Have an awesome Friday, my friends!

A Harbour seal on Rathlin Island watching my every move. What an absolute privilege it was to sit reasonably close to the many wild harbour and grey seals that were basking on the rocks near Ushet Point. The Neverending story??? title on my picture is because it reminds me of Falkor, the dragon creature in the 1984 film, but without the floppy ears.

i was amazed at how bright and clear everything looked while visiting florida - the blues of the sky, the greens of the trees, the spatterings of red, fuscia and orange blossoms in the trees... no wonder people choose to retire here. who wouldn't want a neverending vacation!

the first of the morning light hitting the tops of the mountains of glencoe and reflecting perfectly in the mirror like water.

Another shot from McMillin Bridge

another sunset view from my place. i thought that rows of coconut trees along the manila bay walk added a nice foreground to a spectacular sunset. i am lucky to see glorious sunsets like this on a daily basis. now that is bliss!
