Good old Peggy's Cove...My favourite spot for an evening drive. I was hoping there would be some clouds, though. This time I was able to use my variable neutral density filter and try some long exposures on the water, though it wasn't quite dark enough, but for once I could use tripod hands free without worrying that the wind would blow it over, so sitting on the rocks at 1C didn't feel nearly as cold as many "warmer" days when I have been there with strong winds blowing.

Cellardyke - Skinfast Haven, now known as Cellardyke Harbour, one of the historic jewels on the East Neuk of Fife. Steeped in history and dating back to 1544, once was a bustling fishing village however the harbour is little used nowadays.

The Braunsdorfer Werre flows into the Schwarza near Bad Blankenburg.
For me, the Werre is one of the most beautiful mountain streams.

Although these are obviously the washed clothes, they are dirty in a way, thanks to a pair of black pants in the background they have been washed together. This pair of black pants made everything perfectly grey. I think it is applicable to the way bad thoughts circulating in our mind might spoil something bright and beautiful.
Arches of colour - Dusk descends across Batty Moss after the winter sun drops below the western horizon dramatically silhouetting Ribblehead Viaduct. The sky seemingly loaded with the colours of the rainbow; the arches filled with the intense orange afterglow of sunset and the top of the viaduct delimiting the cooler tones of the sky above.
This was taken on my last visit to Ribblehead - New Year's Eve in 2019 and over a whole year ago now - I find it hard to believe that I did not manage a single visit to one of my favourite locations during the whole of 2020. Oh how so much has changed in that time.
