Drune: East of Eden is a sci-fi sim in Second Life with a cyberpunk feel, inspired by films like Blade Runner, The Fifth Element, Neuromancer, and Altered Carbon. Several versions of Drune have existed before, including a few from different fictional time periods. Eden is a sector 7 district on the East side of Drune, rumoured to be “a place of commotion and carnal disquietude."
Rules:
1. You must be a member of the Drune Flickr group and submit your entry to that group with #Drune10kContest in the title or description.
2. Photos must be taken and submitted during the the contest dates. Photos taken prior to or after those dates will not be accepted.
3. The content of the photos can be anything you like as long as it's clear the photo was taken at Drune: East of Eden. This rule is subjective and it's up to the judges' discretion to determine this. Photos taken at other versions of Drune will not be accepted.
4. Each person may submit up to two photos to the contest. You may submit as many photos you like to the group during and after the contest period, but only two for the contest. If more than two photos are submitted with #Drune10kContest in the title or description, only the first two photos submitted will be accepted unless requested otherwise.
5. The number of entries applies per person. This means that photos from alt Second Life accounts or Alt Flickr accounts will not be accepted. Contestants are expected to be honest and self-policing on this issue. If an alt is used, all photos will be disqualified.
6. Photos taken of the three judges (Hera, Sparklebottom Lasertits, and Riowyn) cannot be accepted into the contest, just to eliminate some bias. However, there are images of Sparklebottom in various places on the sim. Photos which include those images will be allowed as long as they are not the main focus of the photo.

If you wish to rez any objects to assist with your photo, Drune Forever! is free-to-join group that allows rezzing (and is also the new, PERMANENT group for all future versions of Drune). There is a group joiner at the entrance. Please be courteous and delete rezzed objects once you have finished with them. Rezzed objects not in use will be periodically returned.
Photos do not need to be submitted to any category. It will be up to the judges to decide which category each photo fits best. As such, "Best Scenery Photo" doesn't mean it can't include avatars, and "Best Avatar(s) Photo" doesn't mean it can only include avatars.
A photo can only win one category, so if the photo includes both action and scenery, the judges will decide which category to consider it for. This also applies to the grand prize, which is what we determine to be the best of the bunch. Each prize is mutually exclusive to all of the other prizes.
Also, keep in mind that Drune: East of Eden is Adult rated (as have all previous versions of Drune) and has many erotic images and themes around the sim. Photos for the contest are welcome to be as erotic (or not) as you'd like.
That being said, please feel free to explore ALL Drune: East of Eden has to offer. There are three clubs (including Pino 2051), a hentai shop, a tattoo parlor, private apartments, an obedience training room, and several other hidden interiors. You are encouraged to explore and utilize the entirety of the sim for the contest. or even for your leisure.
Winners will be announced within a week of the contest ending.

Logo que passou pela entrada do clube, teve a impressão de assitir a sua vida no holograma que projetava imagens logo acima de sua cabeça. Os tons pastéis, melancôlicos, se misturavam com a sensação de que sua vida estava viranda de cabeça para baixo num ritmo desenfreado. “Um belo de um idiota” pensou ele, sobre como se sentia ... “uma sucessão de fracassos”.
Os minutos eram marcados a cada 100 batidas do drum n’bossa de “Vou festejar” que vazava das picapes. Ensaiou por duas vezes o refrão, acompanhando alucinado a psicodelia incessante dos lasers dos hologramas ao lado do palco e no amarelo vivo das cores dos paineis de nêon.
Reparou na morena que o fitava no fundo da pista e se afastou por causa das lembranças. Engoliu outro speed. O terceiro desde que saiu de casa.
Olhou em volta procurando o bar. Reparou em todos aqueles nêons e luminosos, reparou nas garotas dançando despreocupadas, mergulhadas na luz vermelha embaixo do gigantesco “M” da Marlboro. Mais no fundo uma propaganda de uma vodka vagabunda pulsava sobre o bar, viu a loira que agitada servia os eufóricos com toda aquela porcaria. Encostou para reparar seus movimentos suaves e ritmados enquanto ela teclava os pedidos no LCD.
-Vai pedir algo ou vai ficar só apreciando a paisagem? – ela o inquiriu apressadamente.
-Aham, como se fosse um pôr-do-sol na orla...
Sorrindo ela se pôs de costas e voltou a atender os clientes. Pensou em outro Speed e que talvez o corpo não aguentasse a mistura.
“Excelente ... a pior coisa que pode acontecer hoje é passar essa noite consciente”, voltou até a loira.
-Quais as chances de você pular do bar para a pista comigo?
-As mesmas de você pagar meu salário.
-Você não me parecia ser tão superficial.
-Olha aqui gatinho, porque você não tenta uma dessas patricinhas que estão na pista?
-Você tá me gozando, você já ouviu a conversa delas?
-Essa noite sem chance. Volta aqui quando o movimento diminuir, eu te acompanho em uma cerveja.
Aquele papo era um bom presságio de que teria uma conversa interessante. Preferiu não ter expectativa. Ultimamente um bom presságio não passava disso, de um presságio. Voltou para a pista com o terceiro Speed escalando por sua espinha, direto até o cortex.
A batida de “De alegria raiou o dia” entrava como um martelo pelos seus ouvidos. Girou tonto, contemplando todos aqueles rostos que gradualemente ganhavam uma aparência conhecida ...
“Idiota!” pensou ele outra vez. Quanto tempo mais vai aguentar? Encostou nos fundos, apoiado no gradil dos camarotes. Toda aquela agitação, não passavam de um bando de crianças brincando de caçar. Não estava ali para isso.
-Olá! – um macacão branco, dentro uma garota de cabelos loiros, curtos e com tatuagem de estrela veio até ele.
-Foi você que estacionou o carro na casa do meu irmão não foi? – ela perguntou
-Seu irmão?
-Ah, tudo bem, deixa pra lá – disse ela acenando já de costas para ele.
Lembrou da outra vez:

To be an Astromancer is to be divine; to call upon the stars and have them follow you, bend to you and in this case, form into heavenly, ever-changing constellations around you.
This animesh accessory has a single looping animation to make the constellation ring undulate in place. The star field ring rotates slowly and is lightly animated with texture to give a shimmering effect.
The Array comes with a tinting HUD that allows the constellation lines and stars, and also the star field to be tinted separately easily for a more unique look.
If you don't have enough animesh slots, never fear! A non- animesh version is included. It is not animated for obvious reasons, but the stars still shimmer~

Drune: East of Eden is a sci-fi sim in Second Life with a cyberpunk feel, inspired by films like Blade Runner, The Fifth Element, Neuromancer, and Altered Carbon. Several versions of Drune have existed before, including a few from different fictional time periods. Eden is a sector 7 district on the East side of Drune, rumoured to be “a place of commotion and carnal disquietude."
Rules:
1. You must be a member of the Drune Flickr group and submit your entry to that group with #Drune10kContest in the title or description.
2. Photos must be taken and submitted during the the contest dates. Photos taken prior to or after those dates will not be accepted.
3. The content of the photos can be anything you like as long as it's clear the photo was taken at Drune: East of Eden. This rule is subjective and it's up to the judges' discretion to determine this. Photos taken at other versions of Drune will not be accepted.
4. Each person may submit up to two photos to the contest. You may submit as many photos you like to the group during and after the contest period, but only two for the contest. If more than two photos are submitted with #Drune10kContest in the title or description, only the first two photos submitted will be accepted unless requested otherwise.
5. The number of entries applies per person. This means that photos from alt Second Life accounts or Alt Flickr accounts will not be accepted. Contestants are expected to be honest and self-policing on this issue. If an alt is used, all photos will be disqualified.
6. Photos taken of the three judges (Hera, Sparklebottom Lasertits, and Riowyn) cannot be accepted into the contest, just to eliminate some bias. However, there are images of Sparklebottom in various places on the sim. Photos which include those images will be allowed as long as they are not the main focus of the photo.

If you wish to rez any objects to assist with your photo, Drune Forever! is free-to-join group that allows rezzing (and is also the new, PERMANENT group for all future versions of Drune). There is a group joiner at the entrance. Please be courteous and delete rezzed objects once you have finished with them. Rezzed objects not in use will be periodically returned.
Photos do not need to be submitted to any category. It will be up to the judges to decide which category each photo fits best. As such, "Best Scenery Photo" doesn't mean it can't include avatars, and "Best Avatar(s) Photo" doesn't mean it can only include avatars.
A photo can only win one category, so if the photo includes both action and scenery, the judges will decide which category to consider it for. This also applies to the grand prize, which is what we determine to be the best of the bunch. Each prize is mutually exclusive to all of the other prizes.
