By offering (neurological) music therapy in Mexico City I will improve the quality of emotional, social and mental functioning of people who deserve extra attention, but do not get this in the form of music therapy because this evidence based practice is not (yet) recognized as an official health profession. I will offer individual process focused therapy in my private practice, group focused projects on school campuses and varied therapeutic music sessions in various areas of hospitals, like pediatrics, rehabilitation or psychiatry. The musical sessions will be conducted by me and include playing, singing and composing music with the objective of reaching a non-musical (neurological) goal.

9:00 AM FOCUS ON THE BRAIN
The brain is one of the least understood organs in the human body. But in recent months, scientists have pioneered new interactive methods to unlock its secrets. How can simple tasks like driving a car or interacting at a party shed light on the inner workings of the brain? What can we learn from new techniques about treating mental health and curing debilitating diseases? And where, perhaps, is our infatuation with technology and biomedicine leading us astray?

If it’s not clear why your loved one died, the death may be reported to a coroner who will decide if a post-mortem examination is needed. Post-mortems provide useful information about how, when, and why someone died. They enable pathologists to obtain a better understanding of how diseases spread.
