This is a painting I have reimagined with Google's DeepDream convolutional neural network software -- Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence are two of my greatest passions and they are of great interest to the field of art.

Well, I finally got something approximating a working neural network. It's based on Geoffrey Hinton's presentation on Restricted Boltzmann Machines (look it up on YouTube, it's very good if you're interested in machine learning). Trouble is, the stupid thing refuses to actually WORK. Oh well, at least it looks nice.
