On March 28, 2012, we hosted our first community networking event in Singapore. Partners, prospects and customers had an opportunity to meet the SoftLayer team in Singapore and learn a little more about how our platform helps our customers "Build the Future."
It was a beautiful Chicago summer night as we hosted our Tech Cocktail Mixer & Speaker Series sponsored by Cars.com Speaker Series. Many packed the bar as we listened closely to Ben Huh of Cheezeburger and Talia Mashiach of Eved talk about their journey as entrepreneurs.
Shortly after, we transitioned to our mixer & startup showcase where we had 10 of Chicago's hottest startups compete for a chance to win their spot in a national startup competition at Tech Cocktail's Celebrate conference.
