This small climbing net, nestled in a patch of rhododendrons, ws dedicated to someone named Daniel in the class of 93-94 (?), because he always felt that life is too short not to have a good time. an e.e. cummings poem accompanies the dedication. It's very securely fixed to four pillars, strongly enough that anyone can safely play or relax on it. The poem was this:

ODC3 - Net. An old 1955 Sea Explorer Manual from the Boy Scouts of America and a Crawdad net. Both belonged to my father. Be Prepared! (although I'm not sure how much of the scout manual has to do with crawdad netting;-)
I always find amazing the forms of the spiders nets, I see them so perfect that I can't deny there is something divine in every living creature, doesn't matter how little they are!
