One of the most strikingly beautiful caterpillars I've seen at Sabal Palm Sanctuary. Each little spine along its back is actually shimmeringly opalescent.
This photograph is part of the Meet Your Neighbours Project. The caterpillar was photographed onsite in a field studio setting using a solid white, backlit background so no cutting out or removal in photoshop was done or necessary.

Traditional Net Fishing in Puerto Rico
Fishing net on the beach in Luquillo. These nets are very large and are stretched up and down the beach prior to stowing after fishing. The fishermen use traditional techniques: nets, rowboat, and as many people as they can get to help.

I'm a big fog and dev lover, but that morning was amazing. Like all the world's spiders been working whole the night knitting they nets. I saw them all over even over laws and every grass. The truth is that previous night we did have frost and morning sun has turned it to stong dev. Anyway the landscape was like from fairy tale.
Thinking that V8 is more power than that will ever need. That stop sign in the background might be saying it all...lololol.

Just a little fun with www.dumpr.net and Photoshop. I know this is not the best quality, it was a quick and dirty experiment. I'm sure someone out there can do much better with a little more time spent on it.
I wonder if I'm the first to do this using the dumpr.net gallery image ??
26.12.22; the second Boxing Day since I started bus spotting 9 years ago that I had part of the day free to spot some of NCT's famed Boxing Day services... and they didn't run any. C'mon, even in the pandemic year of 2020 they ran. The ONE bus I saw all day, which was a Skylink, had its photo ruined by a prat in a brown 'new' Fiat 500, which as automobiles go is pretty much a crime against cars.
The trams were running on some level, at a frequency that looked as if it was being made up as they went along; gaps were randomly ranging from 12 to 25 minutes and some only going as far as Shipstone Street. Still, they were running, and by some stroke of luck I saw both advert liveried Incentros within a few minutes of each other.
The first was Consent Coalition liveried 202, on the short stretch between Cator Lane and Bramcote Lane stops, on its way to the P&R.
