A little farther along the channel we came across this unique looking place. We were informed that it is a "Net Loft". It is a manufacturing facility, and where fishing nets are made.

My goal with this series is to explore every day scenes under the cover of darkness. A street corner, a lamp post, a doorway. Big city, small town, urban, rural. This is the second image of bubble net feeding, this time very close to the shoreline
As we were watching from the boat, a ring of bubbles appeared on the surface of the water. Within seconds a humpback surged upward bursting though the surface of the water surrounded by the ring of bubbles. As seen in this image the mouth is wide opening a frenzied attempt to catch the fish trapped by the ''net of bubbles". One humpback or several can be involved in the bubble net feeding
