A local fisherman casts a net fishing for banana prawns off Nudgee Beach. There were 3 shots taken one after the other to create this image. A long exposure for the water, a short exposure for the fisherman casting the net and the last one of the plane coming to land at Brisbane Airport.

This travelling cableway was erected in 1908 at Grays for H Covington and Sons of Battersea by John M Henderson & Co of Aberdeen. It was used for lifting waste material and refuse from barges in the Thames for dumping to reclaim land. The span was 900 ft and it could handle a net load of 4 tons. Powered by a two cylinder steam engine it could hoist at 300ft per minute and travel at 900 ft per minute.

As you can see, things has been really quiet on my Flickr, but not in the rest of my life! I've been taking a lot of pictures, making some projects for school and doing another project which I explain in this post. The thing is… I've decided that I have to use Flickr more often, so I think I'm gonna try that thing of the 365 days, uploading one picture every day. Whatever picture I take, no matter if it's self-portrait (although I don't have so much time to put me in front of the camera), my projects, portraits, urban, landscape… I think that would be good, because I'm not a very constant person and I need to fix it! So let's do it!
The other project in which I've been working really hard is my photography website. Not exactly a professional website, because I'm far from pro, but kind of. There, I'll upload my class work, another personal projects that I'm doing right now, and I'll write in a blog too, where I'll discuss another aspects of photography as well as documenting my life as a student. Hope you like it! A visit would be very much appreciated! :)
That picture is part of the second project that I made for class. It's called It was(n't) me and consists in 10 self-portraits in which I don't appear. I've decided that I wanna show a typical day of my life helped by people who is with me everyday and know well (the process It's better explained on my website). The supermarket is a place where I use to go after work, especially when I need some donuts. I'm addicted to donuts. And that's all, pretty simple as you can see. I think I've wrote too much :P

Working it for all I'm worth!
I felt like dredging up something revealing from the bottom of the pile of minidresses and thought this fishnet minidress might just be the thing to wear for the last part of my weekend photo session. I'm wearing it over my nude bodysuit and my black Cleancut pantyhose along with my 5" peep toe pumps. Enjoy the view!
