Nesso is a small and picturesque village located on the eastern shore of Lake Como.

Buon fine settimana a tutti!

Good weekend everyone!

Every single hamlet among Lake Como area definitely worth a visit! The Strada Regia And the Orrido in Nesso itself will surely enchant you with its unique hearty atmosphere: a daily tour on this amazing place would totally take you back in time!

Visit the old hamlet by travelling along the Strada Regia, on a 48 miles road from Como to Bellagio both pedestrian and suitable for cycle. It once was a junction of mule tracks which connected both settlements and people.

Reach Ponte della Civera and look at the wonder Orrido: the flowing waters will charm you with their unique thunderous sound! Then take the 340 steps staircase running next to the small houses overlooking the lake…and get ready to discover a little bit of heaven right there!

This is Nesso, a small village on the south side of Lake of Como. A nice waterfall goes into the lake under an old Roman bridge. If you are on a boat you could go under the bridge and see the waterfall.

Nesso is a comune in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres north of Milan and about 13 kilometres northeast of Como

Two rivers, the Tuf and the Nosè, tumbling down the steep mountain, join to make this waterful at Nesso on the eastern side of Lake Como. The conjoined river is bridged by a Roman structure as it enters the lake and it was described in colorful words by Leonardo da Vinci. On a hot day it's inviting to swimmers as we sail on for a cold beer in Como.

An afternoon

finally in the snow, enchanted to watch the fast passage of ragged clouds actresses of a spectacular natural time lapse; lovely gift of season.

Needs large size!

The Nesso Ravine can be seen from Piazza Castello or from the Medieval bridge, also called the bridge of Civera, on the shore of lake Como.

The Ravine is formed by the merging of the two torrents: Tuf and Nosè, which crashing through the rock, form a steep waterfall; the drop from the beginning of the waterfall to the waters of lake Como is circa 200 meters, a route through deep, narrow ravines formed by the incessant flow of the waters.
