This site was initially thought to contain a hut circle but after field walking and further investigation it is now thought to be a recumbent stone circle. It is a comparatively large circle and possibly the second highest circle. Not a lot remains of the stone outliers or recumbent stone (removed within the last 100 years by farmers to build field walls?).

The site was covered in quartz which has now been removed and cremated bone remains have been found.

This site was initially thought to contain a hut circle but after field walking and further investigation it is now thought to be a recumbent stone circle. It is a comparatively large circle and possibly the second highest circle. Not a lot remains of the stone outliers or recumbent stone (removed within the last 100 years by farmers to build field walls?).

The site was covered in quartz which has now been removed and cremated bone remains have been found.
