A smiling male Neon Skimmer (Libellula croceipennis) roosting in my yard. I love the way they hold their first pair of legs up behind their head and roost only with the other four.
Early morning at the Brant Street Pier in Burlington. This might be my new favorite time of the day. I wanted to include more of the curve, but someone was standing just to the right of my comp. This damaged my calm. >.<

The large neon sign of a violin player on the wall inside the Saffron restaurant in Bruntsfield often catches my eye when walking past at night. I did snap it through the window quickly with the phone a few months back, but passing recently thought I would try with the main camera, shooting in monochrome, just to see how it looked. Taken coming back from a day in the park with Starley and his stroller, this sunset is SOOC!!
There was a huge fire--hundreds if not thousands of acres (hopefully a controlled burn)--putting a lot of ash into the air. Fire photos to come.
I remember in the 80´s when neon colours were trendy which also was clear in the beginning of the 90´s. I still love these colours and use them a lot. Fortunately they are doing a come back even in the 20th century!
I have some new works with neon effects... sometimes it is boring to use orginal colors.. so i have the idea to make b&w with neon light colors... maybe i print these pictures in Big size to get the full big view.. =)

This neon sign, known as the "Angel of Mercy", is the symbol of the Mission to Seafarers on the Hobart Waterfront.
I have been going through my photos on my computer, transferring them on to an external hard drive. I have been meaning to do this for ages, but kept putting it off. I have lost many photos before when the hard drive died and after I had to get the hard drive replaced on my lap top this week, I thought I had better clean up my main computer as I have so many photos on it.
I came across this photo of a Neon Cuckoo Bee taken back in December, 2017.
The specialist has decided he might have to upgrade my treatment, but it is too late to do so before heading to the UK. He has said I can take Prednisone while I am away. I have also purchased a thumb/wrist strap which seems to be helping so far.
