... and the magic is all here... a magic dream....
Beauty and Serenity here...
This magic scenery was taken in San Polo di Piave (Veneto region, Northern Italy) and this magic beautiful ancient villa is Villa Papadopoli...
The territories of Treviso, Padua and Vicenza entertain the most beautiful and famous Venetian villas, build in the centuries XVIII and XIX and it is curious to observe the alternate of styles, from the classical one of Andrea Palladio up to the neogothic. This beautiful villa in style Tudor is Villa Papadopoli Giol, built in the '800 and its structure, typically Anglo-Saxon, opposes curiously with the architectural styles of the other villas. The magnificent insides are in style neobaroque and the park is famous for the variety of aquatic plants.
The image has been captured from the government road and it shows us the back part of the villa.

- This is a 'double' wine/champagne glass, called 'Brigitte', designed by the famous Czech architect and designer Borek Sipek.
As with more of his art glass, it is very unpractical and too delicate to use it and more a piece of art for the showcase. The height of this double glass is 31cm.

Palace of Justice, Munich, was constructed in 1890–97 in neo-baroque style at the west side of the Karlsplatz (Stachus).
The People's Court sentenced the members of the White Rose in the Justizpalast in 1943. Room 253 is today a memorial place.
This building is located in Xàtiva Square, opposite Valencia Norte railway station. Apart from the beautiful building, this sky also caught my attention! A little later we also walked through a short downpour, but this was the only one during our stay.
The house was built in the 1930s for an insurance company and was owned by various insurance companies until 1998. There are also flats in parts of the building.
At the top is the figure of a mythical phoenix with a young man, which was the logo of the insurance company.
The Basilica of Nossa Senhora da Conceição da Praia, is the third built on the site. Its monumental façade is a hybrid of Baroque and Neoclassical styles, and is based on church façades of the period in Portugal, construction began in 1739 and ended in the mid 19th century..

This magnificent neo-baroque chapel is a two-level structure crowned with a dome with a lantern opening. The middle of the chapel has a circular opening into the basement, where a torture rack from Sarkander’s time.
The interior of the chapel is impressively illuminated by daylight from the lantern opening which penetrates through the circular hole in the floor down to the basement.
The circular room is a tight space to photograph. My 10mm full frame lens came in handy for capturing as much as possible of this impressive interior. The chapel is located in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
In the middle of the community Schwyz there is the baroque church St. Martin. Jakob Singer and his brother Johann Anton Singer from Tyrol get the order to built it. The sakral building was constructed between 1769 and 1774.
A trip to Vienna
All those who cannot take a holiday may follow me on a tour through Vienna. Past the famous sights, but perhaps you will also discover sights worth seeing off the beaten track …
This is where the neo-baroque architecture of the Vienna Urania meets the modern architectural style of the UNIQA Tower from 2005, which stand opposite each other on the Danube Canal.
The building of the Vienna Urania was completed around 1910 and today houses an adult education centre, the observatory, a cinema, the Urania puppet theatre and a café-bar-restaurant.
Under the bridge I am standing on, the Vienna River flows into the Danube Canal. Today's Danube Canal was the natural course of the Danube until the time of Emperor Franz Joseph.
The UNIQA Tower is an office building with the grund plan of a Q, housing the UNIQA insurance company. The building has 21 upper floors and 5 basement floors. The media facade is equipped with about 160,000 LEDs and is thus also used as a billboard.
Interior shot of the cupola in Széchenyi Baths in Budapest. Established in 1881, and expanded in 1913, the medicinal baths are a beautiful example of Neo-Baroque architecture.
In 1903/04 a new church was built in Widnau in a neo-baroque style according to plans by the Swiss architect Albert Rimli.
The round ceiling fresco, called "Widnauer Himmel", by the artist Siegfried Herforth from 1937/38 is striking.
For the French architect Charles Garnier (1825-1898), this staircase was the real centrepiece of his theatre. He knew how to skilfully play with the dramatic contrasts that strike us as we pass from the galleries or the vestibule with its low ceilings to this 30-metre-high monument. The opera house was opened in 1875 and is located on the right bank of the Seine in the 9th arrondissement.

Arrondissement.

In August 1913, the foundation stone was laid for the new church in Schonach in the Black Forest, which was consecrated by the Archbishop of Freiburg in May 1922. However, the interior was not completed until the 1950s, the new organ was consecrated in 1954 and Josef Braun from Wangen completed the painting of the church in 1956/57. Eduard Kuner from Schonach stuccoed the church in the Baroque style.
The reason for the new building was that the old church had become too small, i.e. a larger church was needed.
In 1906, the first plans for the new building were drawn up, which were approved in 1912. Only the Gothic tower of the previous church remained. The basement of the tower was the former choir, now this is the entrance area.
Angelo Valentin, a wood sculptor from Offenburg, made the high altar. The high altar painting is much older, but it is unknown who painted it. The neo-baroque organ facade is also by Valentin. It contains an organ by the Freiburg organ builder Willi Dold.
