Help, I have done it again
I have been here many times before
Hurt myself again today
And the worst part is there's no one else to blame
Be my friend
Hold me, wrap me up
Unfold me
I am small and needy
Warm me up
And breathe me
Ouch, I have lost myself again
Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found,
Yeah, I think that I might break
Lost myself again and I feel unsafe

Proverbs 31:8,9
Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Micah 5:7,8
“Some women feel the need to act like they're never scared, needy or hurt; like they're as hardened as a man. I think that's dishonest. It's ok to feel delicate sometimes. Real beauty is in the fragility of your petals. A rose that never wilts isn't a rose at all.”
― Crystal Woods, Write like no one is reading 3
Many men feel they have to act like they're never scared, needy or hurt too. That's what 'society' expects of them - and it's harmful to everyone.
― Me.
These roses are not from my garden. But I like them so much I bought them !

Palazzo Salimbeni is a Gothic style urban palace located on the Piazza Salimbeni, just off Via Banchi di Sopra in the Terzo di Camollia of the city of Siena, region of Tuscany, Italy. The building, associated with an ancient mercantile family of Siena, currently houses the main offices of the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena.
It was built in the 14th century, likely above pre-existing 12th-13th century structures. In the 19th century it was remodeled in neo-Gothic style, with detail including the merlons, the Lombard bands under them, the ogival triple mullioned windows, inspired by Siena's Palazzo Pubblico. It was further renovated by architect Pierluigi Spadolini during the 20th century. It faces a square with a statue of the local religious figure Sallustio Bandini, dating to 1882.
Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena claims to be the world’s oldest surviving bank dates to its origins in 1472 in the Tuscan city from which it derives its name. At the time, Siena was a republic and the institution was created to offer loans to “poor or miserable or needy persons”.

I'm back home now after a wonderful six weeks summer adventure in Italy. I've started editing some of the videos of mountain biking and snorkelling , and am in a Ska/Reggae mode, so Guns of Navarone by The Skatalites is fine for this shot of Ulassai in Sardinia. I really loved the limestone landscapes in Sardinia, truly spectacular cliffs. Once the children return to school, I needy to go down the coast again for more beach fun. I've been so lucky in such a strange year to have a fantastic trip and to share it with Maura.
"The Fuggerei is the world's oldest public housing complex still in use. It is a walled enclave within the city of Augsburg, Bavaria. It takes its name from the Fugger family and was founded in 1516 by Jakob Fugger the Younger (known as "Jakob Fugger the Rich") as a place where the needy citizens of Augsburg could be housed. [...] It is still inhabited today, affording it the status of being the oldest public housing project in the world.
The [annual] rent was and still is one Rhenish gulden per year (equivalent to 0.88 euros), as well as to make three daily prayers for the current owners of the Fuggerei – the Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary, and the Nicene Creed – and to work a part-time job in the community. The conditions to live there remain the same as they were 500 years ago: one must have lived at least two years in Augsburg, be of the Catholic faith and have become indigent without debt [...]."

Established from 1332 to 1339 as a foundation endowed by the wealthy patrician Konrad Groß (“Imperial Mayor”) for the elderly and needy. Considered the largest private endowment by any individual before 1500.
In the midst of the other gods, God holds judgment: How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. (Psalm 82)

A new day begins at San Fernando town, Ticao Island in Masbate province, Philippines. We spent a few days here doing outreach to a needy community. The sights around Ticao Island convinced us that this place is one of the most underrated travel destinations in the country.

The mischievous rowdy, spy Bros don’t let anything get past them. A sound a movement a smell and especially food will always get them on point Looking observing the area to see what might come their way if they’re fast enough. They look like Bros. They act like Bros, but they are both adopted from different cities and different ages but they are together always. Double the trouble. They mess with pack leader the Monker Hunter trainer baby reptilian shapeshifter. Though small and frail she pits them in their place. They are always into something and make us laugh..
Langar (Persian: لنگر) is an institution among Sufi Muslims in South Asia whereby food and drink are given to the needy regardless of social or religious background. Its origins in Sufism are tied to the Chishti Order.
Langar is originally a Persian word, and later came into Urdu and Punjabi from it.
Langar, the practice and institution, was first started by Baba Farid, a Muslim of the Chishti Sufi order. The institution of the langar was already popular in the 12th and 13th century among Sufis of the Indian subcontinent. The practice grew and is documented in the Jawahir al-Faridi compiled in 1623 CE. It was later, both the institution and term, adopted by Sikhs.
The food is served out of a massive pot called a deg in the precincts of a dargah (Sufi shrine).
Serving food to the needy has been a rich tradition among Sufis, especially of the Chishti Order.
There is extensive use of free food imagery and metaphor in Sufi writings. Sugar and other sweet foods represent the sweetness of piety and community with God, while salt symbolizes purity and incorruptibility. The transformation of the raw wheat to finished bread is used as an analogy for Sufi spiritual development.
Sufi ritual observances (dhikr) are concerned with remembrance of God through exaltation and praise. Singing, dancing, and drumming are commonly part of such rituals, as is sharing of food. The tradition of langar was also adopted by the Sikh community, where it goes by the same name.

St Leonard’s Court are just a few of the houses for elderly, needy people. provided by a local Housing Trust, St Leonards Trust. You may find this info provided by their website both interesting and informative.
‘St. Leonard’s Hospital Trust is a Registered Charity who provide almshouse accommodation to necessitous persons of aged 60 and over who reside in the parishes of Newark, Balderton, Elston and Girton.
The Charity was founded in 1130 by Bishop Alexander of Lincoln and today has 68 units of accommodation and is managed by an appointed body of Trustees and their Clerk. It is understood that St. Leonard’s Hospital Trust is one of the oldest active charities of its kind in the country.’
P.S. And don’t you just love the names some places get. These houses are just of the wonderfully named….’Slaughterhouse Lane!’

Children in St. Louis, Missouri, protesting proposed cuts to the SNAP (food stamp) program, by Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Children would be the innocent victims and the ancillary damage created by this needless and cruel attempt to cut or limit benefits to the most needy American families.
I went up to Richmond today to hang out with MikeB, Surrounded By Light, Jeff_M, and Phil at the Holly wood Cemetery.
It was a hoot. Some statues feel ashamed, however. A couple need showers. It's all in a day of fun.
