Don't know what the details of this guys situation were but it looks like it hurt.. He'll probably be back on his bike as soon as that thing is off.
In early September, my mother broke her neck horseback riding. She was terribly lucky given her injuries that she wasn't dead or paralyzed. She was massively black and blue and broke several ribs.
She was in the Halo for four months and one week. This picture was taken the shortly before I took her to get the Halo removed. To say that she was happy was an understatement.
Big Man was getting prepared for his big weekend. They were going up to the mountains for the next dirtbike tournament ..... they were moving a loveseat/couch into the camper and he was helping he some how ended up having the couch land on his head and neck after they all tripped over something. Had internal bleeding right where his neck and head connected but lucky nothign is broken. He's in a neck brace for a while he sprained a lot of his neck and was in a mass amount of pain until they gave him "pain meds". We just got back from the hospital and were there since 10am this morning urgh!
He's doing better and laying down like he is supposed to but he can't run the tournaments for a few weeks he's really upset about that. He's on watch though we have to take him back if he starts to act funny, throw up or whatever you know.
My mommy heart strings were torn today! Ouch.
