This is the zip from my Barbour jacket (which is excellent). I've always liked the branded circular pull tab.
I didn't have much natural light over the weekend, so I used the little I had. I rotated the jacket so that pull tab was highlighted to stand out from the fabric.

On a sleepy bank holiday monday morning, just before 10 am, the Dublin Port tug "Beaufort" assists HMS Brocklesby off her berth on Sir John Rogersons Quay & down the River Liffey.
HMS Brocklesby, a Hunt-class mine counter-measures vessel of the British Royal Navy on a courtesy visit to Dublin over the weekend.
Brocklesby is the first naval visitor to Dublin in 2023 & one of the few since covid restrictions since 2020. She is celebrating 40 years in service, her primary purpose is to seek out and neutralise enemy mines using sonar technology, currently under the command of Lieutenant Commander Matthew Teare.
Arriving on Friday 3rd & departing on Monday 6th, which is a new public holiday in Ireland, celebrating Saint Brigid.

The Pontiac has three, but I think we all agree this is one slick ride. The grille reminds me of an old Buick 'waterfall'. This car is definitely an interesting GM baby, isn't it?
The Titanic movie featured Kate Winslett as Rose wearing "The Heart of the Ocean" - a blue diamond necklace based on the famous Hope Diamond. (the actual Hope diamond was never on the Titanic) This stunning necklace has captured the imaginations of romantics everywhere.
Jewelers Asprey & Garrard were inspired to make a real Heart of the Ocean diamond necklace. The result was a 170 carat heart shaped sapphire with 65 diamonds, each 30 carats. Celine Dion wore it at the Oscar ceremony as she sang "My Heart Will Go On" - the theme song from Titanic during the 1998 ceremony. It was later sold at a benefit auction for $2.2 million.
Jeweler Harry Winston created a "Heart of the Ocean" blue diamond necklace. The $20 million necklace was worn by Gloria Stuart, who portrayed Rose

Note the contrast between the model - lit by bright "sunshine" with a crisp shadow - and the rest of the scene illuminated by gray drab English light.
The were for a baby shower. The customer was very specific about what she wanted included, so there was not a whole lot of leeway for creative ideas. I tried though, I elaborated on the blue and brown theme by including, light AND navy blue. I am also officially in need of a sanding sugar support group. I was not planning on using sanding sugar on these, I promise, but I am so used to it, they looked a little boring when I was done...so there I went again, LOL!

Slings are perhaps my favorite use of e-tape, right there up with velcro on helmets and rolled up sleeves! Also that silver M9 is sexy...Also my edits have revealed the extent of my colorblindness, those hands are clearly of a red color and not brown...
