We saw this tame pigeon, with leg ring and everything in the middle of the wild. Homing pigeon with a bad sense of direction maybe?

Our 14 night cruise on Marella Explorer 2 was actually 2 consecutive 7 night cruises, these being Tropical Delights (Barbados - St Lucia - Aruba - Curaçao - Bonaire - Grenada - Barbados) Followed by Paradise Islands (Barbados - Dominica - Antigua - St Kitts - St Maarten - Tortola - Barbados) and for each cruise a navigational chart was made and auctioned to raise money for the ship's Crew Welfare Fund. This is the chart for the Paradise Islands part of our cruise which at auction was sold for over £500.

View of the Five Finger Rapids along the Yukon River, "named by early miners for the five channels, or fingers, formed by the rock pillars. They are a navigational hazard. The safest passage is through the nearest, or east, passage." Century-old photographs at the site show huge steamboats passing through the passage. Stairs with 219 steps and a short trail led down to the site. Climbing the stairs back up was a challenge.
